LIFESKILLS

Lifeskills Empower 360 is offered in various sessions from 1st grade through 12th grade. Sessions include Cooking, Cross Stitch, and Calm Corner. Members will strengthen skills around team building, problem solving, social interaction, public speaking and much more!

AVAILABLE SESSIONS

Empower 360

 

  • Starter: FREE

    • Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 pm

    • 1st-2nd grades

    • Members will strengthen skills around team building, creating, social skills, interpersonal skills, etc. They will also be engaging in community via fun activities!

 

  • Prep: FREE

    • Fridays 6:30-7:30 pm

    • 3rd-4th grades

    • Members will strengthen skills around team building, creating, social skills, interpersonal skills, etc. They will also engage in activities surrounding community in fun activities! 

 

  • Junior: FREE

    • Tuesdays 7:30-8:30 pm

    • 5th-6th grades

    • Members will engage in units of activities to strengthen skills in areas such as team building, critical thinking, problem solving, public speaking and much more.

 

  • Intermediate/Middler/Senior: FREE

    • Wednesdays 7:30-8:30 pm

    • 7th-12th grades

    • Members engage in planned activity units surrounding different areas of interest. Members will strengthen skills in areas such as team building, problem solving, critical thinking, and reasoning.

 

  • Cross Stitch: FEE $25

    • Tuesdays 6:00-7:00 pm

    • 1st – 12th grades

    • Learn to make art with a needle and thread.

Leadership Development

 

  • Torch Club: FREE

    • Wednesdays 5:15-6:00 pm

    • Ages 11-13

    • Must interview with Dan Turkovich and Hannah Komita

    • Torch Club is a powerful vehicle through which young people develop and strengthen their 21st-century leadership skills, giving them a firm foundation of good character and integrity. Torch Club members elect officers and work together to implement projects in the four focus areas: service to Club and community; education; health and fitness; and social recreation.

 

  • Keystone Club: FREE

    • Wednesdays 6:00-7:00 pm

    • Must interview with Dan Turkovich and Hannah Komita

    • Keystone Clubs provide leadership development opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. Youth participate in activities in three focus areas: academic success, career preparation and community service. With the guidance of an adult advisor, Keystone Clubs aim to have a positive impact on members, the Club and community.
