AQUATICS
We offer Parent/Child Lessons (Ages 1-3), as well as Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5, and Junior Varsity and Varsity Swim team.

Parent/Child Lessons: FEE $75

Work with parents to teach their child how to be comfortable in the water, getting into the water, blowing bubbles, floating on back.

Parent/Adult must be in the water with the child.
Level 1: FEE $100

Introduction to the water: Objective: Help students feel comfortable in the water and to enjoy the water safely

Skills: entering/exiting water safely Submerge mouth, eyes, nose Holding breath underwater Blowing bubbles front/back float Kick with kickboard

Fundamentals of Swim: Objective: fundamental skills

Prerequisite: entering/exiting water safely Submerge mouth, eyes, nose, holding breath underwater, blowing bubbles front/back float, kick with kickboard

Skills: stepping/jumping into pool from side Submerging entire head and blowing bubbles Opening eyes/wearing goggles - not covering the nose front/back glide 15 free/15 back Side-swim Using life jackets
Level 3: Fee $100

Thursdays 5:30-6:15 (combined with level 4)

Stroke development: Objective: build on level 2 skills

Prerequisite: all level 1 and 2 skills, entering/exiting water safely, submerge mouth, eyes, nose, holding breath underwater, blowing bubbles, front/back float, kick with kickboard, stepping/jumping into pool from side, submerging entire head and blowing bubbles, opening eyes/wearing goggles - not covering the nose front/back glide, 15 free/15 back, side-swim, using life jackets

Skills: Jump into deep water, headfirst entry from sit/kneel, submerge and retrieve, bobbing and treading water - 1-minute survival float - 1 minute

Strokes: 25 free, back and sidestroke,15 fly and breast check/call/care
Level 4: FEE $100

Prerequisite: all level 1-3 skills and entering/exiting water safely, submerge mouth, eyes, nose, holding breath underwater, blowing bubbles front/back float, kick with kickboard, stepping/jumping into pool from side, submerging entire head and blowing bubbles, opening eyes/wearing goggles - not covering the nose, front/back glide, 15 free/15 back, side-swim, using life jackets, jump into deep water, submerge and retrieve, bobbing and treading water - 1 minute survival float - 1 minute, strokes: 25 free, back and sidestroke 15 fly and breast

Level 5: FEE $100

Prerequisites: levels 1-4 and entering/exiting water safely Submerge mouth, eyes, nose; holding breath underwater, bubbles front/back float, kick with kickboard, stepping/jumping into pool from side, submerging entire head and blowing bubbles, opening eyes/wearing goggles - not covering the nose front/back glide 15 free/15 back Side-swim, using life jackets, jump into deep water, submerge and retrieve bobbing and treading water - 1 minute survival float - 1 minute Strokes: 25 free, back and sidestroke 15 fly and breast, diving underwater, swim bobbing/treading and survival float - 2 minutes 25 of all strokes

Junior Varsity Swim Team: FEE $150
