Adult Fitness Programs

Sarah Heinz House offers adult fitness memberships with access to our state-of-the-art fitness equipment room, indoor pool, and gymnasium. Work out before going to the office or on your lunch hour. Pay by the month or year. Tours are available upon request. 

Hours:

6am-2pm Monday-Friday

Cost:

$30 per month; $300 a year

Adult Fitness Membership

Adult Fitness memberships are available during the calendar year. Membership benefits include:

Senior Fitness Classes

Our Senior Fitness Classes, including SilverSneakers™, are designed for seniors to maximize strength and minimize injury. It’s a great way to stay in shape and meet new friends:

Muscular Strength and Range of Movement: Move to the music with a variety of exercise designed to increase strength, range of movement, agility, balance, coordination, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated and or standing support.

Cardio Circuit: Combine fun and fitness to increase your cardiovascular strength and muscular endurance with a standing circuit workout. We’ll work on upper body strength using hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball. A chair is offered for support.

Yoga Stretch: Move your whole body through a series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movements. Restorative breathing exercise and a final relaxation activity will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Water Aerobics: Join us for a low-impact aerobic workout that tones the muscles of the arms, chest, shoulders, legs, glutes, and back. The higher resistance of the water will give you a greater workout with no risk of injury to your joints. Thirty minutes exercising in the water is the equivalent of two hours of walking on dry land! No swimming experience is necessary.
