Choose from a wide array of offerings including Photography Club, Clay and Pottery, Comics Club, Anime Art Club, Painting and Watercolor Basics, Collaborative Art, Creative Crafts, Young Adult Book Club, Lil Lit, and Creative Theatrics.


Photography Club

  • Starts 9/5

  • Tuesday 7:30-8:30

  • 5th-12th grades

  • Explore the beauty of the world through the lens of a professional camera.  In photography club, students will learn how to use a camera, edit photos via Photoshop, and document all the fun we have at Sarah Heinz House.  Photos taken by photography students will be featured in our very first Sarah Heinz House Yearbook.


Clay and Pottery

  • Starts 9/25

  • Monday 6:00-7:30

  • 3rd-6th grade

  • Try your hand on pottery and take home your projects!

Comics Club

  • Starts 9/25

  • Monday 6-7pm

  • 2nd-6th grade

  • Find your love for comics and develop your own comic through reading, writing, and drawing comics!


Anime Art Club: Christine

  • Starts 9/25

  • Tuesday 6-7pm

  • 5th grade and up

  • If you love anime this is the class for you! Come watch, draw, and explore anime characters. Even design your own character!


Painting and Watercolor Basics

  • Starts 9/26

  • Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm

  • 1st-4th grade

  • Have fun with different styles of painting and take home your projects.


Collaborative Art

  • Starts 9/27

  • Wednesday 7-8:30

  • 4th and up

  • Join forces with other learning artists to create beautiful pieces of art. Collaborative art allows us to see things in different ways and learn from and with one another. 


Creative Crafts

  • Starts 9/27

  • Wednesday 6-7

  • 1st-5th grade

  • Come and try a different craft project each week. Students will make art with pixels, sand, jewelry, origami, and chalk to name a few. Each week students will take home a new project.


YA Book Club

  • Starts9/25

  • Monday 7-8:30 – meets once a month

  • 7th grade and up

  • Read modern YA literature and participate in guided discussion in a laid back, informal setting. Participants will be able to vote on the next month’s book from a curated list including historical and contemporary fiction. Meets once a month.


Lil Lit

  • Starts 9/25

  • Monday 6-7pm

  • 1st-4th grade

  • Read books and participate in fun story-related activities! Develop a love of reading and storytelling and get creative in a group setting.


Creative Theatrics

  • Starts 9/28

  • Thursday 7-8:30

  • 3rd and up

  • Interested in theatre and drama? Learn the basics of the theatre and dramatic performing, and then exercise your imagination to create and stage your own one-act play.
