Sarah's Kitchen
Welcome to Sarah's Kitchen!
Each day the kitchen offers a wide variety of snacks and meals for both adults and children.
Each day, when your child comes to Sarah Heinz House, they will have the option to receive a free dinner (lunch- on Saturdays) and a free healthy snack. Each meal and snack meets government guidelines for a nutritious meal. Every meal will consist of 1 meat or meat alternative, 2 fruits/vegetables, a starch, and a carton of milk.
Adults are welcome to purchase a variety of other foods, or purchase the meals during our hours of operation. So whether you’re craving a snack, a dinner, a drink, or one of our new fruit parfaits stop in and see what we have to offer!

FAQs about the free dinner program

But My Kid Has Class!!
Parents, please be aware that your child is responsible for attending all of his or her classes. Meal times are not a valid excuse for missing program or coming to class late. Please make sure that you review your child’s schedule with them so that they understand when they should eat, and when they need to go to class. It is very difficult for instructors to plan a class when there are students walking in 5, 10, 15 minutes late.
Thank you for your help!
Volunteers Needed!!
Attention adults with the high volume of meals served at dinner and snack time, the kitchen is always looking for help. So whether you are sitting around waiting for your kids or just looking for something to do, we’d love the help!
